This year you will see some slightly new branding coming from me personally with the words “Simon Said This”. I have a privately owned business through which I help business owners world-wide to tell their stories. I have contracted and licensed all the Asian stories that I tell, to RCN Asia, so you will see some “Simon Said This” stories on RCN Asia. Here is the link on RCN Asia to my Simon Said This space.

Glyn at RCN Asia has contracted me and pays me to come up with stories that I think are relevant to demystify and help people to engage Asia. You can expect some content from me this year that should be helpful to anyone wanting to improve their relationships with Asia.
Glyn and I are not at all interested in getting involved in conflict narratives. We will leave that to other people, and we will focus on being friendly and helpful to foster friendships first, business second, for those who want to engage Asia.
My first story this year is about misunderstandings between the Australian government, and WeChat.
Last week, Glyn contracted me to conduct research into what happened with Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison’s WeChat account, so that we could support all of those interested in engaging Asia through WeChat, to learn from this as a cautionary tale, to prevent damaging relationships unnecessarily.
